Streaming services
Supported streaming services
WatchNest syncs Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, YouTube, HBO Max, Crunchyroll, MUBI and Rakuten Viki in a desktop browser. Everyone plays the title from their own account; WatchNest shares only play, pause and seek, plus chat.

Built in means WatchNest runs on the site as soon as it's installed. One-click permission means Chrome asks you once to allow WatchNest on that site, from the WatchNest popup or when you open an invite link.
* Amazon sites: amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, amazon.de, amazon.fr, amazon.co.jp, amazon.it and amazon.es.
Ads: when an ad starts for the host, the others pause until it ends, so nobody gets ahead. Episode queue: when the host's episode ends, the room moves on to the next item in its queue.
Not supported
What WatchNest doesn't work with
WatchNest doesn't support Hulu, Peacock, Paramount+ or Apple TV+, streaming apps on phones, tablets or TVs, Safari on iPhone or iPad, or Firefox.
- Desktop browsers only. Every participant joins from a computer: Chrome on Windows, Mac or Chromebook, or Safari on Mac.
- No shared subscription. Each viewer needs their own account on the streaming service, and the title must be available in their country. WatchNest doesn't share or bypass subscriptions.
Browsers
Supported browsers
WatchNest runs in Google Chrome and in Safari on Mac. Chromium browsers that install extensions from the Chrome Web Store, such as Microsoft Edge and Brave, use the same Chrome extension.

Yes, in Safari on Mac, through the WatchNest app from the Mac App Store. It covers the same eight services as the Chrome extension. Safari on iPhone and iPad isn't supported.
No. WatchNest doesn't support Hulu, Peacock, Paramount+ or Apple TV+. It only works on the services listed on this page.
On services where WatchNest detects ads, the room waits: when an ad starts for the host, the others pause until it ends. Crunchyroll ads aren't detected yet, so viewers on its free, ad-supported plan can drift apart during ads. MUBI has no ads.
